Once Eninon was almost died when he was a youmg prince. The dragon gave Einon half of his heart so that he could live. But the dragon want him to live by the Old Code. The Old Code is "I won't be a cruel king. I won't kill dragons and peasants. I'll love my people and be kind to them. I'll always live by the Old Code." Einon promised. But when he grew up and became a king, he didn't achieve what he has promised. He was cruel to the peasants. Bowen thought it was because the king had half of the dragon's heart. Then he tried to find the dragon and kill it. When he found the dragon, he realized that it wasn't the dragon's heart that made the king cruel. The king was cruel because he had a cruel father. And he and the dragon became good friends. They gathered the peasants together to kill the king. But because the king had half of the dragon's heart, he won't die if the dragon was live. Then the dragon sacrificed himself to let the king die at the end of the story. I like this book very much. Among all the charactors, I like Bowen the best. He stuck to the Old Code even though no one lived by it. He was loyal to the king and tried to make Einon a good king. Although he failed to do this, he still tried to make this country better. And he finally succeeded. I admire his perseverance. I hope I can do everything with perserverance, too. 49778012鄭宜婷

Tuesdays with Morrie author:Mitch Albom poblishing company:TIME WARNER BOOKS year of publishing:1997 number of pages:210 I'm glad that I finally finished this book. But during the last two weeks, the more I read this book, the sadder I felt. Because readers can realize that Morrie withered away every week from his actions. After finishing the book, I learned a lot from this old professor. I admire his attitude to his life. He never hid his emotion though he was a male. In this society, if a man cries, he will be considered that he is not strong enough. But in Morrie opinion, no one is that strong. We all need to let it out. And in Chinese culture, we seldom say "I love you." to the people we love. After reading this book, I learned that I should speak out my love to all the people I love. After all, no one knows how much time is leaving in his life.

It is difficult to express how touched I am, but I'll try my best. This book is mainly composed of the dialogues between the author, Mitch, and his old professor, Morrie. I learned Morrie's attitude to the life from the dialogues. He was a dying old man. But he thought that he was a lucky person who had time to say good-bye to the people he loved. And before he died, he could leave something for the living people. Maybe they are his thoughts of death, family, emotions, love, and so forth. I am really moved by some of his words. He said: "You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anythig for granted." When I read this sentence, I almost cried. Last sunday, I was scolded by my father because after I entered this university, the time I stay at home was greatly less than before. He thought that I considered my friends were the most important in my life and family was not that important. And he thought that I took my parents' love for granted. Well, I felt very sorry. Morrie and my father are right. I shouldn't take their love for granted even though they're my parents. I should feel an immense gratitude to them. After all, not everyone has this chance to have such nice parents like them. By the way, I called my father to say sorry today. And I told him I really love them. This book affacts me vastly. Chili Palmer was a gangster. His boss died from heart attack all of a sudden, so a man called Ray Bones became his new boss. Ray made him get the money back from Leo. It led to a lot of events. The most important matter is that he got involved in the movie career which cost 500 thousand dollars. Three gangsters started to plot for the money. Therefore, Chili, Harry and Karen finally overcome all the obstacles and got the money. They also made the movie at the end of the story.    In this story, the one I respect the most is Chili. His wisdom of solving problems ,self-confidence and carefulness affect me a lot. He has a pet phrase " Look at me." Whenver he says that, his eyes turn cold, and his opponents always feel scared. Maybe scaring somebody is not a good matter, but what I can learn from him is his self-confidence. A man with confidence trusts himself and is the winner all the time.   Frankly speaking, I don't really like this book very much after reading it. I can't get the point which the author wanted to tell us. Because of this, I even went to borrow the DVD of this book.
