After reading the Effective Learning,I find that there are many methods much more than I can image to improve myselfto learn more effectively. Since I know I am not a talent person,I always do many efforts to push myself to acheive goals,but many times I failed.
Among those methods in the article,I am happy for finding there are some tips in the article I have used. First,I know I am a "evening person,"so I do my works always after having dinner. You may think the time I have seems a little short,but it is the point I use to force myself paying attention to what I should do and beibg more effective because of the shortage of time. However,if you are a person who always find some excuse for not doing your today's work just yet,this way is not fit to you. Second,I am used to skimming the chapter or article I have to read in advance. It helps me understand what I am about to read and catch the point easily. Thus,I still have a question. I cannot catch the right point sometimes. The other one is that I plan my days. I often plan meekly shedual for me to distribute time. It is very helpful for the person who is forgetful but has many things to do.
Some strategies I learn from this article impress on me. "Capture insights,"for instance,let me monder if it may bring benefit for me if I use this tip. It sounds odd to me,but intersting. Other one is "View frustrations as opportunities." It means incredible to me! How can a normal person do such a difficult mission? People says we should seize our opportunity,it is difficult enough,but now me even should turn failure and frustration into chance. I hope I can learn how to do that.
I also find my shortcomings while reading the article. I often tolerate confusion until it becomes big a problem in my study. It's terrible. What's more,I prevent myself from tackling unpleasant tasks immediately. I think I must improve soon.
In breif,learning is not just learning. We should turn what me learn into a part of our lives.

1.Is it necessary for us to consult the dictionary whenever we meet the words that we don't know in the novels? Is it okay for us to guess the meaning of those words according to the context? 2.Can we take it easy when doing the outside class reading? In the town Charlie lives,there is an enormous chocolate factory.It is Wonka's factory.No one knows who works for him and how Mr.Wonka makes his chocolates.One day,Mr.Wonka decides to open his factory for only five children.Lucky Charlie got the"Golden Ticket" to be allowed to visit Mr.Wonka's factory. His wonderful adverture begins. I always read the book on the bus ,and I read it about 30 minutes a day. This book is very interesting.The story is nearly impossible to happen in our real lives so I want to continue reading to know what will happen next.That makes me realize how important it is to choose a book that I am really interested in.

Because I don't have the habit of reading,so I decide to start from a easier book.The name of this book interests me a lot.It talks about witches,who are really real in the world.This is not a fairy tale but a real story.According to this book,real witches are the most dangerous of all living creatures on earth and there's nothing they hate so much as children!They cast all kinds of terrifying spells to get rid of children.Maybe your neighber,your friend,even yuor kind teacher is one of real witches!
I hope I can cultivate the good reading habit through the class.Although the accounting course is very busy,I hope I can handle my time and take good use of them to prompt my english ability and enjoy it!

Mary always looked cross.Nobody liked her and she also liked nobody.After her parents died,she was sent to her uncle's house.Living there,she always went outside and played in the garden.One day she found a garden,which was closed for a long time and nobody could go in.Then something magic happended.
She found the door and a key to get in.But everything in there was brown,so she decided to plant flowers and grass.Because of the garden,she knew Ben Weatherstaff,who was a gardener,Dickon and Colin,who was the uncle's son.Before they knew each other,they were lonely and liked nobody.But they had become more optimistic since they worked together in the garden.In the end,they were friends and lived happily.
 
After I read the story,I think that it is important to open one's heart.Like Mary,at first she liked nobody,but she became open and clear by living close to nature.When she planted flowers,she felt happy and began making friends.So it is good to change rather than make restrictions on ourselves.
 
I think it is good to read a novel every day.By doing so,I can always expose myself to English.From this experience I think the book seems  unsuitable for me.So next time I will try different books.

This novel has been adapted to a movie and it is a very successful film ,with Julia Riberts as Darby Shaw who is the leading role.
It describes that there is a law student who is the only person that knows why the murder happened.She has uncovered a deadly secret and that leads to deadly deaths.However,the justice won at last and the law student had proved that she was right.
i think this novel is very interesting and mysterious.Each murder is frightening because the author describes it very well.I can imagine the scene vividly through his words.I like this novel and I think it is a really good choice.In addition, I am happy to recommend this book to our classmates.
The only problem that I have confronted is there is too many names that I could barely remember them all! However, this novel is really worth reading!

I haven't finish the whole book yet, so I'll just share the chapters I've read far away. This book is about a father Larrey, who is out of work and definitely urgent to find a job just to make ends meet. He lives with his only son Nick, also his best friend because he was divorced. However, his ex-wife is now living with her fiance Don, who is a rich guy and a successful person. Therefore, it is easy to comprehend that Larrey doesn't want to lose Don, especially when he is his son's soon-to-be stepdad. He tried lots of ways no matter legal or illegal to convince investors to support him some money. Unfortunately, nobody seems to trust him. At the moment he was almost becoming a failure, good news pop up - he got a job, a mysterious job. The job was a night guard at the museum which seems quite easy but actually not. He was totally shocked at the first night, because everything in the museum comes to life! He finally realize what the retired night guard said "Do not let anything in or OUT." (To be continued...)

I think this is an interesting novel to read. It describes every character so clearly as if they were real. I can see the love Larry gave to his son and it touches me. For example, most of the power for him to find a stable job comes from his son. This is not only a funny story, but also a story talking about love between the grownup and the child. The description of every exhibition is quite exciting when coming alive and I think that part is worth reading because it'll make you unable to stop your laughing.

By the way, choosing the right book is important. The more it interest you, the more you can persist in reading. Take my book for example, it makes me want to know whats going to happen next, so I would go across it whenever I'm in a free time. As you read through, you will feel comfortable instead of boredom!
