CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY Author: Roald Dahl Illustrator:Quentin Blake Publishing company: Penguin Group Year of publishing: 2005 Number of pages: 190 The story is about a little boy.His name is Charlie Bucket.There are seven people in his family.Charlie's father is the only person in his family with a job.Therefore,they are very poor and life is extremely uncomfortable for them all.There is not enough money for them to buy sufficient food and the only thing that Charlie longs for more than anything else is chocolate. In the town Charlie lives,there is an enormous chocolate factory.It is Wonka's factory.No one knows who works for him and how Mr.Wonka makes his chocolates.One day,Mr.Wonka decides to open his factory for only five children.Lucky Charlie got the"Golden Ticket" to be allowed to visit Mr.Wonka's factory. His wonderful adverture begins. I always read the book on the bus ,and I read it about 30 minutes a day. This book is very interesting.The story is nearly impossible to happen in our real lives so I want to continue reading to know what will happen next.That makes me realize how important it is to choose a book that I am really interested in.
