Homework #2
1. "Study Efficiently" is the most important part during my whole school life. I'm a terribly picky guy, I won't be able to do anything if there's any thing ain't right. After a decade researching, I finally find my own way to let this ugly guy, me, study. First, my ability of temptation résistance is extremely awful, the condition becomes better resulting in the increasing age, but I still prefer doing my studying with no TV, computer, novel, and bed, the most dangerous thing in the weather like now. Second, studying place must be silence, not extremely but relatively, I can't sit with any noise, but music is ok, I brought my ipod with my every day, every time. Third, I better had a better dream last night, or I rather go back to bed to make a new one. I also used "Take charge of my mind", "Chip away at big jobs" , and "Tackle unpleasant tasks immediately" for details.
Here's my studying method right now: 1. Do not do it at home. I can cut off telephone, internet, TV cable and pack all my books into boxes, and I did it before, but I cannot throw my bed away, I can sleep all day long at home before the mid-tern examination and I haven't even opened my books. 2. Do it as many as possible in the class, keep mind clear, and force to write down everything teacher said when I feel sleepy. 3. Do it every day, make studying a habit, as natural as I brush my teeth before sleeping. 4. Do big part first, separate it to parts, make deadlines for each part.
2. I'm interesting in "Capture insights", I've tried several times before, but never success. I can feel speed of thinking fasten when I get insight, and my writhing, if I was luckily with paper and pen, couldn't even follow it. The fact is I usually can't figure out the thought I just had. I'm quite curios of the statement, I'll try once again. I plan to put a small notebook and a carry pen in my pocket, and again write down the detail of the idea at "the insight time" hoping that I'll be able to understand later.
3. I'm not sure about the effect of "Keep a journal". I think notes of class in quite enough, I take note of every class at every thing which I think it might be helpful or important, I also remixed with my own words, but just write down a copy. I don't think it helps to write a journal in addition.
