Sultan Shahriar loved his wife very much, but was betrayed by her. From that time he bagan to hate all women. He married a new wife every day and killed them the next morning.
The vizir's daughter,Sheherezade volunteeredto be his wife. Each day she told a story. Since Sultan wanted to know the ending of the story, he couldn't kill her.
There are some widely known stories such as "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" and "Aladdin and the Lamp". Those stories are attractive and we meet many different people in them.
Finally, the Sultan fell in love with Sheherezade and they were very happy.
I think we can learn many things from these stories, from the characters in the stories. From the beautiful and clever Sheherezade, a unhappy young man, a funny fat man, a rich young man, the boy judge, forty bad thieves......
I have gradually got into a habit of reading English novels everyday and really enjoy in it if I had chosen the right novel. I think I can try to read some novels of higher level now, and can spend more time each day in reading.
