I'm glad I've finish the whole book because I usually won't have the persistent to finish it. Continuing with the story in RJ1, Larry found out that he had been tricked by the retired nightguards. They took away the Tablet of Ahkmenrah, which gives life to everything in the museum at night. Larry couldn't let them do this or every exhibition in the museum would be "dead" forever. He also wanted to prove this kind of miracle to his son Nick although he already thought his dad was crazy. Therefore, Larry cooperated with everything in the museum just to prevent the retired nightguards from taking away the tablet. They may not be as strong as them though they were made in wax, but they still tried many ways to defeat the thieves and they made it! Nick believed what his father said in the end. He was so proud of his father. Larry, also proved that he wasn't a loser and winned Nick's heart.
After finishing this book I think I'm touched. There is nothing we can't do if we think its important. Larry may not be a successful entrepreneur like Nick's soon-to-be stepdad, but he tried his level best at protecting everything in the museum. Although he is only a nightguard, I still think he is a successful person. No matter what kind of career you do, if you can deal well with your work then you are the winner.
