Reading Journal1 Name of the book: Tales from Shakespeare Story Name: Macbeth Author: Charles and Mary Lamb Publishing company: Penguin Group Year of publishing: 1995 The book I choose is formed by small tales from Shakespeare. The first story that I chose was Macbeth. Macbeth, Shakespeare's "four major tragedy" about general Macbeth of Scotland. After listening to the Witch's prediction he started to cast greedy eyes on the throne, and launched a series of bloody violence and contention. The desire for power led Macbeth himself on the path of self destruction. Even though he wanted to change his fate, but eventually he had to face his destiny. This tales tells us that as a human being, we must be kind at all times. We can't be greedy; knowing to share with others will make everyone joyful other than your own. If a person always considers his benefits as primary purpose, someday he'll know what it like to be isolated among others and, knowing the taste of failure. 合經一 49780004 張均玄
