She became the famous hostess of Manderley overnight. Mrs. De Winter found that the late Maxim`s wife, Rebecca, was known by everybody as a perfect woman. Mrs. Danvers, the housekeeper, admired Rebecca so much as if Rebecca were still alive. She had great hostility towards the new Mrs. De Winter. Mrs. De Winter gradually found that the death of Rebecca remained a mystery and Maxim always purposely avoided talking about it. This book has ten chapters, and I`ve finished half of the book in these two weeks, and the other half is planned to be finished for the next two weeks. The story seems so mysterious and interesting that it attracts me. It has been adapted into a movie and an opera. Until now I still can`t find the main line in the story because I haven`t finished it yet, I can`t wait to finish the book to figure out the mystery! 49777099 ACC Girls 張耀真
