Someday, for Ishmael's first time, there came a chance to whale-hunting. All the crew was divided into 4 groups. They transferred from their ship to small boats. On the boat, Ishmael saw how Starbuck, Stubbs and Flask encouraged their own members to keep paddling in different ways in the turbulent sea. However, something bad happened. Ishmael's boat was crushed by their big ship because of the heavy fog. Ishmael and his partners were safe but this event really shocked Ishmael.
